About us - JUMP STREET

It was 2018 and I took over the space on the corner of Šafárik Square in Bratislava after several unsuccessful gastro concepts that failed in this space. After a busy hot summer full of twists and turns, renovations, rehearsals, creating, bureaucracy, JUMP STREET street-food restaurant was born on 26.9.2018.

While still in high school as an 18 year old boy, with a huge appetite for entrepreneurship, I got the idea to bring together quality, stylish street-food accessible to everyone. I wanted to create an environment for quality burger lovers and do things just differently.

Since this idea, more than a year and a half has passed since I have been working nonstop on the JUMP STREET concept to make sure that everything is worked out to the last detail. Whether it was designing the business, branding the brand, marketing strategy, accounting and financing, creating a team of chefs and servers, creating sauce recipes, trying all the burger and drink variations, finding the best quality meat on the market, creating all the recipes or sauces or buns, thinking through the entire concept and function from A to Z, fighting endless bureaucracy and a million other things. It was pure madness.

I was very lucky to have a smart team of people by my side from whom I was able to learn and progress quickly. A lot of credit goes to my family who believed in me and it was also thanks to them that I was able to open JUMP STREET Burger & Bar as a 19 year old boy.

I didn't know if my idea of a great stylish burger in a cool environment accessible to everyone would excite anyone, but to my amazement, after a few days the restaurant was already filled with satisfied guests.

After several years of continuous improvement, today you can see and taste what JUMP STREET tastes and looks like now. We have made many progressive steps and together with my team we have moved JUMP STREET to not only one of the TOP Street Food restaurants in Slovakia, but also to a complex catering company that has 100s of events under its belt, headed by a fleet of JUMP STREET Food Trucks.

A strong and young team of people is moving on and the next ambition is to expand in Slovakia and abroad with the JUMP STREET Smash Burger franchise program.

I would like to dedicate this part to the huge community of people who have fallen in love with JUMP STREET, just like me, and we appreciate their trust immensely and thanks to you we can do what we love to do. I'm glad they understand me and my idea.
